This is documentary about Hubert Ogunde, a playwright who founded the first theatre company in Nigeria. Ogunde is also credited as the father of Yoruba/Nigeria Theatre practitioners. He is also one of the early filmmakers in the Nigerian film industry.
An NTA/BBC produced documentary which gives an insight into how Ogunde came to establish himself as well as how he managed his Theatre company, also reveals how he made a success of Polygamy as most of his wives and children were involved in various aspects of the theatre business.
