Fine Wine a rom-com starring Richard Mofe Damijo, Ego Nwosu and Demola Adedoyin (October 1st, God’s Calling) is simply an interesting movie and mostly definitely recommendable.
RMD plays 55-year-old, wealthy businessman Seye George who meets and falls in love with 28-year-old, youth corper, Kaima (Nwosu). The story revolves around the age difference between the two, and also Kaima's egocentric bossy boyfriend, Tunji (Adedoyin) who's curly hair reminds one of a former singer turned pastor. No offence Demo, am referring to Tunji
What stands out in this movie directed by Seyi Babatope (Sanitation Day, When Love Happens) is the cast. A good blend of old and new generation actors which includes Zainab Balogun, Tina Mba, Belindah Effah, Segun Arinze, Keppy Ekpeyong, and Nse Ikpe Etim in a cameo appearance as Seye's wife, Ame.
Nwosu was exceptional in playing the cool, calm and naive Kaima. The role couldn't have fit anybody else and that's the beauty of Ego's Method acting.
This movie must have a sequel and it should include a scene where Kaima deals with that receptionist. Also, the sequel can consider writing off the character of Akin, Seye's bosom friend. Make una just create a scene where somebody go ask after am and Seye go say "the guy dey very jobless". U hear Seyi, Una do well
