Happy Birthday to Seasoned star actress Ini Edo as she graciously hits the milestone age of 40

A second generation Nollywood actress, Ini Edo became famous in 2004 when she starred in a movie, World Apart, alongside Kenneth Okonkwo and Hilda Dokubo.

 In 2005 she made another landmark performance when she starred alongside Rita Dominic and Pat Attah in a drama movie titled Only Love and went from there to star in over 100 films which include Nkasi - The Village fighter and its a sequel, The Sprout Girl, Desperate Billionaire, Love Games, Blind Kingdom and Beautiful Faces, to mention a few.

In 2006, Ms Edo joined the big league when she was cast in Emem Isong's Games Men Play and Afam Okereke's directorial Girls Cot. And in 2009, she reunited with the GMP cast for a successful sequel, Reloaded. 

An award-winning actress, Edo, an English graduate, earned an AMAA nomination for her performance in the movie, While You Slept.  In 2012, she made three GIAMA nominations which included Female Viewers Award at the GIAMA awards but eventually won the category the following year.

A Brand Ambassador of many products, including Taxi_NG and GLO (2006 - 2016), she was appointed by the UN as a United Nations Habitat (Youth Envoy) in 2014 and a Culture & Tourism Special Assistant to the Cross River Governor in 2016.
