A WEEKEND WITH BLOSSOM CHUKWUJEKWU ON NETFLIX

Blossom Chukwujekwu has rare qualities and a mien that has helped shape him into one of the most sought-after Nollywood actors. His commitment to his career started while in the university. Though he read Mass Communication and was also student President of the faculty’s association, Blossom still managed to be an active member of a Theatre group, House of Theatre and played the lead role of Ukeme in a stage drama, Godless: The Path to Dawn.

Playing Ukeme was a self-discovery moment for the Benin boy who hails from Otolo in the Nnewi North area of Anambra state. It also prepped him for the countless unsuccessful auditions he went through in 2009 before securing a lead role in the soap drama, Portrait of Passion. He also featured in other prime drama series such as Tinsel and Shuga

That same year, real name Chukwudi Echezona Chukwujekwu started ‘rolling with the big boys' when he was cast alongside Ramsey Nouah and Omotola Jalade in Vivian Ejike’s Private Storm. He eventually became an A-lister when he starred in Flower Girl in 2013. And ever since, he remained on that list and on top of his game.

On Netflix, he stars as the lead in four movies Sanitation Day, Black Rose, Catch.er and The Visit and support roles in another four; The Million, Who's the Boss, Day of Destiny and Oloture.  Here is a selected few for your weekend pleasure
