She took time out to focus on marriage and family. After stabilising matrimony with two lovely daughters, Dakore, who, unknown to many, is also a brilliant songwriter and singer, bounced back to the scene, making her mark on Screen Nollywood as a Lead star.
Recommencing with Journey to Self in 2013 and co-starred in Fifty in 2015. Her impressive performances earned her the lead role in Jadesola Osiberu's directorial debut, Isoken. A romantic comedy that earned 14 AMAA and AMCVA nominations in 2018. The Best Actress in a Lead role went to Dakore.
The story continued with more and more blockbusters: A Sunday Affair, Castle & Castle, and Set it Up, starring or featuring the Bayelsa-born award-winning actress who is also a brand Ambassador of Amnesty International, Amstel and Oxfam of America.
