The Lost Days is perhaps one of the most emotionally gripping Nollywood dramas of 2025. And that’s just being modest.
Starring Ifeoma Fafunwa, Bimbo Manuel, Baaj Adebule, Durotimi Okutagidi and Cynthia Clarke, the film delivers a powerhouse of storytelling, elevated by an intelligently woven screenplay from the acclaimed Abdul TJ (Red Circle, Brotherhood) and Paul S. Rowlston. The plot unfolds with subtle intrigue and well-placed twists, creating a smooth and logical progression that keeps viewers emotionally invested from start to finish.
First-time director Wingonia Ikpi makes an impressive debut, guiding the story with confident pacing and a clear emotional compass that sharpens the film’s thematic depth.
At the heart of the story is Chisom Agu (Fafunwa), a wealthy widower recently cleared of cancer, who feels compelled to reconnect with the man she once loved and the child she left behind. But the reunion doesn’t go as planned, taking an unexpected turn that leads to moments of tension, reflection, and ultimately, forgiveness.
A masterclass in emotional storytelling, The Lost Days is a poignant narrative about the consequences of imposed choices and the fragility of reconciliation.

The Lost Days is a very well written and thoughtful film. I was struck by how well it was written and how well it was executed. A definite ‘must watch’.
