NOLLYWOOD TO MILITARY SERVICE - Joseph Momodu Begins New Chapter With US Army

Joseph Momodu Begins a New Chapter with the U.S. Army
Nollywood actor Joseph Momodu has begun a new chapter in his life after announcing that he has officially enlisted in the United States Army, completing a demanding 10-week basic military training programme.

Known for his appearances in Le Femme Anjola and Tanwa Savage, described the journey as physically and mentally challenging, adding that the achievement fulfils a lifelong dream while honouring the legacy of his late father, who served in the Nigerian Police

Momodu becomes one of the few Nollywood actors to transition into military service in the United States, following Grace-Charis Bassey, who graduated from U.S. Navy boot camp and became a U.S. citizen in 2025.

While their career paths have taken an unexpected turn, both actors remain notable examples of Nollywood talents embracing new opportunities beyond the screen.
