Nigerian Prince is a very engaging drama about a young American-Nigerian returnee, Eze, who was deceptively sent down to Nigeria, never liked it, and then ended up aiding his scammer cousin, Pius, so that he could buy his return ticket back to the US.
Though the movie contains some social misrepresentations, it still rates tops with a captivating opening scene that sets the pace for the entire narrative and interestingly concludes inconclusively. This, however, might suggest a sequel: Did Pius actually make the flight out of the country with an “Ori Olori” passport? And what also became of Eze?
Kudos to a first-timer, New York-based director, writer and producer Faraday Okoro. Bimbo Manuel (Smart) and Tina Mba (Aunty Grace) also did justice in their support roles
