Dr Michael Okpara, Premier of the Eastern Region, in Hollywood - 1962, with Frank Sinatra. He was there as part of his international investment marketing drive. Part of this initiative was to make the region an international film production hub. He and colleague, G.E Okeke, were hosted by Sinatra, who organised a dinner for the team and drove them round on a tour of Hollywood.
Fast forward 30years later, 51 Iweka Rd, Onitsha and 5, Ẹ̀binpejo Lane, Idumota, Lagos, became the major hub and operational drive for the Nollywood Industry
