Legendary Comedian and actor, Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe died on Monday the 22nd of November after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
Baba Suwe was a pioneer in the movie Industry. He introduced slapstick comedy into the Home Video Industry that later became known as Nollywood. Some of his early films include Omo lasan and Eku Meji, Larinloodu, Elebolo and Baba Jaiye Jaiye. Some of which were financed and produced through his production company, Babs Omidina Films.
In 1995 he met and married Omoladun a comedienne. They both starred in a lot of movies and became a household name thrilling audiences with their rib-cracking comedy sketches. Omoladun sadly died in 1995.
