Adebayo is a name that you can rarely miss if you are an ardent Nollywood viewer. Especially if you watch the Yoruba movies, you will keep coming across the ‘Surname either on the Cast or Credit list. But four of those names; Adebayo Salami, Femi Adebayo, Tope Adebayo and Sodiq Adebayo are very prominent and related.
Veteran Actor Adebayo Salami Popularly known as Oga Bello has been active since 1964 when he started out with the Young Concert Party which transformed into Ojo Ladipo Theatre and later Awada Kerikeri where took he took up the leadership role after the demise of Ọjọ́ Ladipo. Ever since Oga Bello a thoroughbred of the Industry has withered the storm acting writing and producing scores of TV shows and movies, setting a fine trail for a younger generation which includes his three sons,Femi Tope and Sodiq
Femi although started out featuring in his father's movie Ogun Ajaye, his real debut was in Tade Ogidan's 1995 movie Owo Blow. He has since starred in over 100 movies. A trained lawyer, he has also ventured into production and formed a company J15 media. He has starred with his father in a few outstanding projects such as Ọjọ Weli Weli, Tope shuttles between both sides of the camera as an actor, AD and Screenwriter. A Computer Engineering graduate, he has directed his father in a movie titled Tiresimi. Other directorial projects include Shadow Parties and Monkey manSodiq is perhaps one of the most successful Location Managers in Nollywood. He has managed over 100 production projects. The University of Ilorin graduate in Geology and Mineral science managed the locations in Kunle Afolayan's Tenants of the House and Diamonds in the Sky
