Annabel is a 2004 Nolly Classic starring Nkiru Sylvanus, Enebeli Elebuwa, Chiwetalu Agu and Nonso Diobi. Nkiru plays the innocent young Annabel, who was supposed to be married off by her uncle, Ume (Agu), to a 70-year-old chief (Enebeli Elebuwa) with four wives. Thanks to her brother, Uche (Diobi), who helped her escape to the city where she met her good fortune.
But when Chief confronted Uncle and found out what Uche had done, it became a case of Omena Jalija
The two-part family drama was directed by Ekenna Udo Igwe and featured Emeka Ike, Dakore Egbuson and Patience Ozokwor.
