Collision Course starring Daniel Etim - Effiong and Kelechi Udegbe, is a satire that reflects the sensitive issues of class, police brutality and corruption in Nigeria.
It tells the story of two individuals, Mide (Etim - Effiong), an aspiring musician with a law degree and a frustrated police officer, Magnus, who tries to make ends meet by soliciting bribes at a checkpoint A run-in at an authorised checkpoint, however, led to both Mide and Magnus understanding each other’s frustration at the society but did not solve the next line of unexpected painful action.
Directed by Bolanle Austen Peters (Man of God, Bling Lagosian) and written by James Amuta, the impressive, 73-minute feature length, which bagged the 2022 AMVCA’s best movie award, closed the 10th Africa International Film Festival in 2021 and opened the Athen’s Nollywood Travel Film Festival in 2022.
