EYIMOFE - A film about Lagos Hard Life streams on Prime Video

Mofe, a struggling, highly skilled maintenance engineer at a printing company, secures an 'International' passport to go overseas. Shows it to his wife and kids and sets off to his second job as a security guard. Comes home the next day to find his wife and kids dead due to a generator malfunction. 

A heartfelt story that news stations and papers would rarely report adequately, but directors Chuko and Arie Esiri have been able to capture this scenario along with Mofe's neighbour, Tolu, an equally struggling bartender and hairdresser by day, runs girl at night, planning and working so hard to secure a passage to Italy with pregnant Teenage sister Grace, in feature-length titled Eyimofe. 

Starring Jude Akuwudike (Beast of No Nation, The Crown ) Joy Sunday and Cynthia Ebijie with support cameo roles from Bimbo Manuel, Lala Akindoju, Chigul, Kelechi Udegbe and Sadiq Daba, Eyimofe, with a captivating soundtrack, Happy Survival by Eddie Okwedy captures what thousands of Nigerians can identify and relate to and also what millions are experiencing.
