Grind starring Roberta Orioma, Tamara Sindio Apaun, Roseanne Chikwendu, Uzor Arukwe, Steve Enagbare and Omolola Ayobola, is drama series that narrates the story of how a young woman had to take on the responsibility of fending for her family when all the chips are down.
Orioma plays Tarela, who got tired of being owed her next-to-nothing salary as a waiter, got tired of her mother (Ayobola)’s unending fasting and prayers that couldn’t put a single meal on the table, talkless of paying the house rent and even very tired of her boyfriend, Kelechi (Enagbare) always giving her small change because he is always ‘yet to be paid’.

Edesiri (Chikwendu), her childhood friend, introduced her to the caregiving profession, and technically, it alleviated her. She even became a trusted hand to her boss, Somto (Arukwe), but it also drove her into murky waters of envy, enmity, false accusations, and a possible murder charge.
