A Piece of Flesh, starring Genevieve Nnaji Desmond Elliot and Dakore Egbuson Akande , is a 2007 romantic drama that themes its narrative on the conflicts of religion and love.
Written by Emem Isong, this classic Nollywood movie tells the story of a profoundly religious woman, Ifeoma (Nnaji), who, desperate to save her brother’s life, had to sleep with her wealthy playboy boss, Stanley (Elliot).
Stanley, who uses women as his ‘bedmate’, regretted his callous and advantaged move on Ifeoma and, while seeking forgiveness, realised he had a different feeling for her.
Directed by Lancelot Imasuen (Critical Decision) and also starring Chinyere Wilfred and Fabian Adipe, the two-part movie, although a predictable slow-burner, will keep you hanging till its happy ending
