A WEEKEND WITH BRIAN OGOLA ON NETFLIX

Brian Ogola is, no doubt and in no ordinary measure, holding his own as one of Kenya’s most sought-after actors.

Raised in a large family of 14, ranking 11th, the 33 years old began his career as a stage actor at church events but went professional in 2012 and landed his first role in a Kenyan TV series Jane & Able. In 2015, he debuted in film with a role in KATI KATI. That positioned him as a promising talent to look out for.

So 2017 saw him star alongside Joyce Maina in the short comedy, Neophobia. The same year, he landed his first lead role in the award-winning movie 18HRS, which won the “Best Overall Movie in Africa” at the 6th Annual African Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA.

 In 2018, he earned Kalasha's ‘Best Lead Actor’ in a Film nomination for his stellar performance in the Short movie POACHER. He didn't win but has been busy with at least two projects (film and TV) per year. Poacher, however, won the Best Short Movie award.

With two leads, Lusala and Poacher and two support features, Disconnect and Chaguo, Ogola, is looking like Kenya’s top export.

Why not spend the weekend with ‘the proud beast from the East’ with these movies;
