Okonkwo plays the royal Prince Promise who falls ‘way below’ in love with a village girl Uli (Edo) who works as a housemaid. The Prince is prepared to bring Uli up to his standard at whatever cost but his mother, Queen Mirabel (Liz Benson) is against the relationship and is also, at all costs, going to put an end to it.
