Chidi Mokeme is a seasoned actor of note whose presence in Nollywood spans generations, solidifying his status as a pillar of talent, commitment, and versatility in the industry.

After bagging a Computer Science diploma from the famous IMT in Enugu, he started as a model but later veered into acting. By 2003, he had already made a mark with standout performances in top movies like Promise Me Forever alongside Genevieve Nnaji and The Seed alongside Stella Damasus. A multilingual actor fluent in the three major Nigerian languages, Mokeme added depth to his diverse roles, such as his collaboration with Bukky Wright in the gripping thriller Omotara Johnson.

He further strengthened his A-list status with top movies such as Abuja Connection in 2005, Who Will Tell The President in 2007, and Critical Condition in 2007. He also played the Notorious ‘Sunday Osunbor’ in the biopic about one of Nigeria’s top criminals of the 1980s, ‘Anini’. After a brief hiatus, he returned to star alongside Ramsey Nouah and Rita Dominic in Izu Ojukwu’s 2016 historical fictional drama, ‘76.

Beyond the silver screen, Mokeme's influence extended to television as the host of the inaugural season of the iconic TV reality series Gulder Ultimate Search. Additionally, his entrepreneurial spirit shines through with the success of his sex toy company.

Mokeme is fully back on the block with a major lead in the 2023 thriller drama series Shanty Town, a co-lead alongside Funke Akindele and Chioma Chukwuka in No Way Through, and a featured role in Ayo Makun’s third instalment of Merry Men and more. His timeless talent and charisma continue to captivate audiences with each role.
