Desire, starring Femi Adebayo, Jumoke Coker, Oyindamola Sanni, Jumoke Odetola, and Niyi Johnson, delivers an intriguingly suspenseful narrative about engaged lovers Dotun (Adebayo) and Bisi (Coker). During a job trip, Dotun becomes entangled in a lustful affair with his neighbour, Titi (Odetola). The situation escalates when conniving Titi becomes pregnant and refuses to terminate the pregnancy, citing some spiritual bullsh**t health risks.
Confused and unsure of his next steps, Dotun seeks advice from his mother and sister, Biola (Sanni), who both insist he takes responsibility for the child and confess to his fiancée. His best friend, Lanre (Johnson), also supports this advice. Dotun’s predicament of an accidental pregnancy and the potential loss of his fiancée triggers a series of events filled with deception, betrayal, and, ultimately, murder.
Directed by Afeez Abiodun and produced by Jumoke 'Candy J' Coker, Desire may not meet all production quality standards but succeeds in presenting a compelling storyline with notable performances.
Also starring Remi Surutu and Aina Gold, Desire promises to be a gripping watch on @Apatatv on YouTube.
