It was a night of glitz and celebration as Nollywood stars Bisola Aiyeola, Bolaji Ogunmola, and KieKie (Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori) graced the red carpet at the UK premiere of their self-financed movie, Gingerrr, held on Saturday, November 1, at the Odeon Cinema in Greenwich, London.
The high-energy action-comedy, which has already taken Nigeria by storm with an impressive box office gross of over ₦300 million in just four weeks of its release, is continuing its remarkable run in the UK. Early screenings have reported sold-out shows across major cities including Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Braehead, Greenwich, Streatham, and Croydon.
With its blend of humour, action, and star power, Gingerrr, also starring Wunmi Toriola, is fast proving to be one of Nollywood’s standout cinematic successes of the year—both at home and abroad.
