Starring Kie Kie and Taye Arimoro, Roxy follows the unlikely journey of its titular character, played by Kie Kie, a call girl whose life shifts dramatically one fateful night. During one of her runs, she discovers a man violently thrown out of a moving vehicle. Despite the danger and the odds stacked against her, Roxy risks everything to save him, rushing him to the hospital and even covering his medical bills.
The man survives but loses his memory, and with no one else to claim him, Roxy becomes his assigned next of kin. Now known as Bonny (Arimoro), he is released into her care and delivered straight to her small one-room apartment. Although hesitant, Roxy takes him in, and as she struggles to help him regain his strength with her limited resources, an unexpected tenderness begins to unfold between them.
Both Kie Kie and Taye Arimoro deliver brilliant, emotionally grounded performances. Kie Kie embodies Roxy with a vulnerability and grit that make her sacrifices deeply believable, while Arimoro brings a quiet strength and innocence to Bonny, capturing the delicate balance between confusion, trust, and growing affection. Together, they carry the emotional weight of the narrative effortlessly, creating a chemistry that gives the love story its beating heart.
