76, a controversial drama movie based on the 1976 Nigerian coup is finally coming to Netflix com the 4th of August.
Directed by Izu Ojukwu it’s a story about love and betrayal. Set six years after the Nigerian Civil war, a young officer from the Middle Belt area, Capt. Joseph Dewa gets into a relationship with a student, Suzie After so many constraints from military postings and family pressures, the relationship was just about to blossom as Suzie became pregnant. But on February 13th, 1976 a coup broke out and claimed the life of the military head of State, Gen. Murtala Mohammed. Capt. Dewa was implicated in the coup and Suzie however entangled in an emotional dilemma.
