AJOKE SILVA CELEBRATES 40@60

Happy 60th Birthday and 40 years on Stage to Veteran Actress Ajoke Silva.
The two-time AMAA award winner, Member of the Order of the Federal Republic OFR, has been gracing our  stages and screens for 40 years since the 80s when she first appeared on TV Drama series  in Mirror in the Sun and Second Chance

A graduate of Dramatic Arts and English,  Ms. Silva became a '3rd Name' in major Nollywood movies. which includes,  Violated, Mind Bending, Òwúrò lojo 30 Days  Keeping Faith. She has also secured an international casting in 1998 when she starred alongside Colin Firth and Nia Long in the movie titled The Secret Laughter of Women.
She won the 2006 AMAA Award for her leading role in Women's Cot.
For the screen, she starred in Kunle  Afolayan's Phone Swap and was part of the star cast in Ebony life's Chief Daddy.

As a businesswoman of the Arts, she co-runs the Lufodo Group with hubby, Sir Olu Jacobs. a business outfit that includes the famous Academy of Performing Arts.

Screennolly is rising up today with a fine calabash of Palmwine to celebrate this Amaro lady, a mother and grandmother who has, and still is a major contributor and influencer of the Nigerian Arts.
