Castle & Castle - Second Season Lives Up To Expectation

There was just too much noise aka publicity going for the Castle & Castle, the second series preceding its September 15th release. Suffice to say that there was also much hype on the fact that it’s a Netflix Original for a Legal drama. This would set one’s expectation on the high.

But really the 2nd series is absolutely brilliant. Just like the first season, this initial seven-part has a tight storyline with new intrigues and good comedy. The cast gave their best notably Dorcas Shola Fapson who played the elevated role of Doshima. Might not be able to say the same about Ade Laoye, It seems that the demands of her role as Morenike Williams could have been a bit too much for her. She just didn’t deliver

Bimbo Ademoye, Bisola Aiyeola and Mimi Chaka’s roles as prospective demanding sisters-in-law to Stella (Anee Icha) was a wonderful added pep.

Like I mentioned earlier, that the publicity and hype would have set one’s expectation so high, the drama series directed by the duo of Kayode Kassum and Walter Taylaur lived up to every part of that expectation
