Ayinla the biopic movie celebrating the life
and times of Apala music legend, Ayinla Omowura is now streaming on Netflix.
Starring Lateef Adedimeji as Ayinla, the movie
directed by legendary filmmaker, Tunde Kelani (who for the very time makes a guest appearance in a movie) centres around the arrangements
and preparations of a UK tour being put together by legendary music promoter
Olabisi Ajala(Afolayan). It also accurately recaptures the circumstances that
led to the death of the late icon who tragically died at the peak of his career
in 1980 at the age of 47
With an impressive cast lineup that includes Adebowale Akintayo aka Mr Macaroni, Ade Laoye, Omowunmi Dada, and Bimbo Manuel as Sam Ayo Vaughan, the feature-length produced by Jadesola Osiberu, is accompanied with original soundtracks that include last hit song, 25x40.
