Kedibone is a coming-of-age and inspiring movie that
tells how an innocent Soweto township girl, Kedibone (Natasha Thahane, Blood & Water), who wanted to become an actress, ended up getting
lured by the glitz and glamour of Johannesburg.
Her dream of becoming an actress was almost truncated by her irresponsible aunty if not for her boyfriend, Mrembula (Wright Ngubeni) who sold his inherited BMW car, for her to attend the University. And Kedibone, the 20-year-old virgin, would mess up this golden opportunity for a fast life of lies and deceit which involved dating a new friend's father, sleeping around and dealing drugs.
Directed by Thomas Gumede this feature-length, also starring Thabo Malema, Busisiwe Mtshali, and seasoned actor, Kenneth Nkosi, brilliantly employs the filmic elements to narrate this compelling story written by Zaba Hlatshayo
