SCREENNOLLY THROWBACK WITH ADA AMEH (1974 - 2022)

 

On Sunday, the 17th of July, Nollywood was thrown into mourning as we got to know about the death of Ada Ameh. 

The ever-smiling actress who debuted in Domitilla, a 1996 sequel of the hit movie, Glamour Girls, was said to have collapsed and later died in hospital a few weeks after announcing that she was battling mental health illness. 


The 48-year-old actress who has suffered terrible losses, including her daughter, will be remembered for her memorable roles in top movies such as 2002 hit comedy Aki Na Ukwa,  2019 crime drama Oloture, A million dollar baby, Blood Money and 2012 comedy-drama, Phone Swap where she plays the remarkable wife and police officer, Cynthia alongside Wale Ojo and Nse Ikpe Etim. She will also be remembered for her role in the 2012 TV Series, The Johnsons, where she played Emu.  



She also  featured in My Village People, A 2021 comedy movie which will be streaming on Netflix from Friday July 20th
