In most surrogacy stories, when it goes wrong and takes a dramatic turn, we all know what to expect - a woman is paid by a childless couple to carry their baby, and she turns around and starts developing affection for 'the' unborn baby. And then starts acting out after collecting money. That's usually the case.
But in Nafsi, starring Catherine Zamau (Plan B), Mumbi Maina (Shattered) and Alfred Munyua, the story took more than a dramatic turn; it went utterly South with secrets unfolding.
The 123-minute feature length, directed by Reuben Odanga, would beat your imagination.
