Sikiratu Sindodo starring Tayo Odueke and Toyin Adegbola (Asewo to re Mecca), is a story of how the Beer Parlour owner (Adegbola) forced her hot-tempered daughter, Sikira (Odueke), into prostitution by constantly rebuking her especially when she is rude to male customers who sexually harassed her. It didn't stop there because Sikiratu threw the stones back at her mother.
Written and produced by Yemi Sonde, the 2004 production of Corporate pictures was directed by Waheed Ijajuade (Sumibare) and also featured an array of top Yoruba Nollywood actors that, includes Opeyemi Aiyeola, Fathia Balogun, Ogogo, Yinka Quadri and Baba Suwe. to mention a few. The classic movie shot Odueke into the limelight and gave her a lifetime moniker - Sikiratu Sindodo.
