Intensive and intriguing is not enough to describe BEYOND THE VEIL, starring Jemima Osinde, Nora Ego, Maryam Booth, Ame Aiyejna and Habiba Tanko Zock-Sock
Like the title suggests, the drama series written by Nadine Ibrahim and Sifa Aani Gowon unveils the woman behind the veil, especially from northern Nigeria. It exposes and draws you into how women often must manage and balance conflicts of religion and tradition with modernity to prevail as their own person.
Badriya (Ego), a blogger who enjoys a flashy lifestyle, meets Sadiq
