SCREENNOLLY THROWBACK - SINS OF THE FLESH

Sins of the Flesh, starring Chioma Chukwuka and Francis Duru. Directed by Tchidi Chikere, it tells the story of an innocent young lady, Scorlasitca (Chukwuka), who gets impregnated by her boyfriend, Issac (Duru), a seminarian training to be ordained into the catholic ministry and is not prepared to be deterred from his ambition, so he denied even knowing Scorlastica.

She was rejected by her parents, who assumed that she was so promiscuous, not even to know who the father of the unborn child was. Still in love and with a lot of faith, Scorlastica had to deal with the consequences of her circumstances.

Released in 2005, Sins of a Flesh earned Chioma the 2007 AMAA Best Actress in a Leading Role award. It features Rita Edochie and Bruno Iwuoha, who also won Best Actor in a Support Role.
