Rahama Sadau, known for her exceptional acting skills, has a notable presence in top movies. Her role as Binta in the sequel drama Sons of Caliphate: War of Wrath and Revenge played a pivotal role in the series, holding the No. 1 position on the Netflix Naija platform for over two weeks in December 2023

Hailing from northern Nigeria, Rahama actively promotes the Hausa culture through her craftsmanship. With a degree in Human Resources Management, she rose to prominence in 2013 in Gani ga Wane. Over the next three years, she continued to shine in various Hausa language movies.


In 2016, Sadau made her crossover to the mainstream with a role in EbonyLife’s drama series, Sons of Caliphate. Her portrayal of the sly and unassuming Binta Kutugi garnered national attention, leading to her first lead role in the 2016 horror movie TATU. The following year, she received a BON Awards nomination for "Best Actress in a Leading Role." Rahama also joined the cast of MTV’s Shuga, showcasing her versatility and earning a return for the 6th season in 2019.

Venturing into production in 2017, Rahama founded her company, Sadau Pictures, producing various language movies and two crossovers: The Plan and A Lot Like Love. Her linguistic prowess in Hindi opened doors for her in Bollywood, landing a featured role in the action thriller Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha, directed by Faruk Kabir.

Rahama Sadau's journey from regional acclaim to national and international recognition reflects her versatility and dedication to promoting language and culture through film. Her influence extends beyond acting, marking her as a multifaceted talent in Nigeria and global entertainment.
