The Mirror Boy is a 2011 film starring Genevieve Nnaji, Edward Kagutuzi and Osita Iheme. It revolves around a troubled 12-year-old boy named Tijan, who lives in London with his mother, Teema (Nnaji). The next day, Tijan spots the same boy in a bustling street market, drawing him into a perplexing adventure. As his mother desperately searches for him, Tijan embarks on a profound spiritual journey guided by the elusive Mirror Boy, a character that only he seems to see. The narrative unfolds as Tijan navigates through a labyrinth of mysticism and self-discovery, challenging his perception of reality.
Written and directed by Obi Emelonye, The Mirror Boy earned three AMAA nominations but won three non-acting Awards at the 2012 Nollywood Awards.
