Tiwa Savage gives Nollywood another shot as she stars in a new movie, Water and Garri set to stream on PrimeVideo in May
Shot entirely in Ghana, Afrobeats Queen plays the lead star, Aisha, an aspiring fashion designer who returns home from the US to further her career but is faced with a past guilt that needs to be dealt with.
The hitmaking songstress, who debuted as a support cast in MTV’s Shuga season 3, also performed the original soundtrack for the movie and is also one of the Executive Producers.
Also starring is New Money and Beyond the Veil lead star, Jemima Osunde and Far From Home lead star, Mike Afolarin the feature-length flick is directed by the foremost music video director, Meji Alabi, as his film debut.
