Zambia's first movie on Netflix; CAN YOU SEE US, a coming-of-age movie focusing on the challenges of Albinism and inspired by the true life story of John Chiti, a popular Zambian singer hits 9 on UK TopTen on Wednesday 30th August
Starring 12 year 12-year-old female, Thabo Kaamba brilliantly portrays the role of a young albino boy Joseph who was rejected by his father at birth, and also faces hardship growing up but overcomes it all when he discovers his love for music.
The heartfelt drama was written by Andrew and Lawrence Thompson and directed by Kenny Mumba and also stars Ruth Julie and Kangwa Chileshe amongst others.
