Okan Soso, a Yoruba classic Nollywood film, stars Alh. Taiwo (Ogogo) Hassan and Bukky Wright, alongside other top actors, including Kola Oyewo and Yemi Solade.
Directed by Abbey Lanre, the film follows the challenges faced by Yomi (Ogogo) and Detoun (Wright), a couple desperate to have a child. When their only child is diagnosed with a severe heart condition requiring expensive surgery, they sell their belongings to cover the cost. Despite the successful surgery, tragedy strikes again when their child is abducted and assaulted by a group of local troublemakers, leading to her untimely death.
Even in their grief, Yomi and Detoun seek justice, but the influential parents of the culprits do everything in their power to obstruct fairness. Their excessive use of influence leads to unforeseen and devastating consequences."
The 2004 production also features Mama Rainbow, Yinka Quadri and Lai Ashadele, aka Lakunle Ojo of the Village Headmaster fame.
