SCREENNOLY THROWBACK - State of the Heart

State of the Heart is a 2008 movie starring Richard Mofe Damijo and Stella Damasus. It’s a love story about two individuals, Oby, who has not been so lucky with men and has resolved to life devoid of romantic entanglements and immersing herself in two back-to-back jobs, and Mazzino O whose childless marriage is heading at full speed for the rocks. Fate takes a U-turn for both when they have a chance to meet.

Both star and executive producers Stella Damasus and Richard Mofe Damijo deliver compelling performances, giving the movie the authenticity and emotional weight it requires. A chemistry that they have often displayed in other movies like Stand Alone, Intruder, and Bridesmaid, to mention a few. Suffice it to say that RMD co-directed it.

The two-part movie features a stellar ensemble cast that includes Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Bimbo Akintola, Segun Arinze, and Keppy Ekpenyong.
